Delivery will be made as close to your property as possible if for some reason your ordered product cannot reach you for e.g. when it’s because of access being on a private road, or there is some obstruction (controlled parking zones, road markings). There will be no assurance from the drivers, to take/carry the products inside your property/ location or off the public highway. Therefore, it is advised that at least two physically fit individuals be present to get the goods inside the home or property, when the goods ordered are heavy or bulky in nature.
A delivery charge is made for the delivery of goods. We make a sincere attempt to keep the delivery charge as low as could reasonably be expected.
Please Note: Delivery dates are approximate, though we make every effort to deliver your order as soon as possible, we cannot be held responsible for the consequences of late delivery. Please do not begin any work, or book tradesperson, until the goods have been received and thoroughly checked for damages or inconsistencies. On the off chance that you are not happy with your order for any reason, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days from the day of delivery for a refund, provided you return the goods in the same condition as sold, with all components and accessories intact. Goods must be complete and in unused condition. If we find that the returned goods have reduced in value, the refund will be reflected accordingly. You have a legal obligation to return any unwanted items within 14 calendar days of you notifying us of your intention to return the items under the distance selling cancellation rights. You can download the form or use your account to advise us to cancel before the goods have been dispatched. You have a legal responsibility to take care of products while they are in your possession. In the event you fail to conform with this obligation, we may refuse the return of the product and/or refund.

Please contact our Customer Support Centre to arrange collection if you would like us to collect the goods; we will be happy to do so, provided we are operating this service in your local area; we will charge you a normal rate for providing this service. Once goods have been dispatched by our warehouse and if you then choose to refuse delivery from the courier company, there will be a charge for getting the goods back to us. We recommend you to call us before refusing the delivery to check the return cost. You can either accept or refuse the delivery or arrange the return of the items.
In all other situations, our Customer Support team will advise you the best course of action for arranging a return. The team may issue a Returns Authorisation Number, which should be mentioned in the written correspondence when returning goods or as a minimum, your name, and your address will be needed in order to trace the location. The Returns Authorisation Number is valid for up to 14 days only. The return must be organized at your expense and risk; goods must be received by our Returns Department within 14 days. Goods should be returned with sufficient proof, those sent without proof, will be returned to you and the cost of delivery charged to your account.

Palletized delivery (Large and Fragile Products)
For delivery of fragile or large items that arrive by courier, who may normally arrange a delivery with you; you must carry out a thorough check of the goods for any damage at the time of delivery. In case of damage, you must inform us via telephone and email. (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Note: The delivery note should mention “damaged,” if the package appears severely maimed or damaged. The courier drivers will wait while you carry out checks for product damage. Notification will be placed on the palletized delivery for you to carry out such checks and it is advised that you perform a check of all glass and fragile products in the presence of the delivery driver. You must mention on the delivery note if the products you received were damaged in transit. It is advisable to have another able bodied person alongside to check the goods, if there should arise a need, in case of a large number of products.
Note:The courier company will wait till you carry out the check, however, if the courier company does not allow you to perform this check, please do not accept delivery of the goods.
In the event that you allocate another individual to receive and sign for the goods on your behalf, then it will be understood that you consent to advise the person to thoroughly check the goods and assume full responsibility for any damage or losses if they sign on your behalf.
Buildworld will not consider claims for damages or shortages after a lapse of reasonable period. Any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk, from the time of receipt of delivery of the goods. Replacement goods will be sent to you once manufactured, in case an item may have arrived in a damaged condition.
If there are small items that arrive by courier, it is recommended that you check the products/goods for damage, and in case of any damage, you must inform us through email to email@example.com, within 48 hours.
Although we are careful to guarantee the supply of products, however, at times, broken, damaged, incorrect stock from manufacturer or an over-the-counter purchase from one of our customers keeps us from fulfilling an order. In this event, you can either wait for the stock to arrive or cancel your order. If you choose to cancel, any payment made will be refunded in full.
The refund will be processed the same way the payment was made. If the payment was made by credit card, the refund will be made to the credit card. If the payment mode was Cheque or DD, a cheque (not a DD) will be sent to you. Cheques will be sent to the billing address provided at the time of purchase.
The refund will be initiated once the product(s) have been received by us. Usually, refunds are processed in less than 10 working days, however, for Cheque or DD, it may take a few days more for the cheque to be delivered to the billing address, and for the funds to be credited to your account, after cheque deposit. We will attempt to refund you within 30 days of receiving the item for refund or cancellation.

As per the terms and conditions, the manufacturer’s guarantee covers all goods/products supplied. Neglect, misuses, normal wear and tear or faults caused by accident, are excluded from the guarantee policy. Also, cosmetic damages and routine maintenance consumables are not covered. If the goods are being used in a no domestic environment, e.g. a place of work, the manufacturers may not offer any guarantee.
