One of the first names that come to mind while looking for adhesives is EvoStik. The brand was floated by Evode Chemical Products, which launched its first unit at Stafford in 1938. Initially, the unit made Dove shoe polishes and later expanded to include Evo-Stik, which was so popular that it began to be exported to several other countries. The company was the brainchild of Dr Hermann Simon, who ran it until 1978. Thereafter, it was taken over by Bostik, an international conglomerate.
Evo-Stik is a proven brand that has grown on the sheer force of its effectiveness and value for money. Refusing to compromise on any standards, the company continued experimenting with modern techniques and new materials to create ideal solutions for the constantly evolving market. With a rigid testing and manufacturing policy, the company has already acquired the ISO 9001 certification for management systems and the ISO 14001 for environmental-friendly processes. The Evo-Stik team works with sub-contractors and suppliers for better understanding and to provide a seamless after-sales service.
Evo-Stik has two categories of products. The first is a professional range for construction and masonry, with Sealants and Adhesives for all surfaces. The second is a vast range of adhesives for tradesmen, stationery and DIY that covers almost all materials and applications.
