Ultra Tile

Charles “Charlie” Hudson founded the company Instarmac Repair Services Ltd in 1977. The new company, inspired by the term instant tarmac, moved to its first office location in Minworth, Staffordshire, and started with Tiny Draper’s (of Emcol Int.) pothole repair material.

Instarmac grew over the next 20 years and was able to increase its production capacity and develop innovative new brands. In addition to products for highway maintenance and streetscape, the new product brands now included tiling and flooring products. Instarmac soon needed more space to accommodate its growing business.

In 2008, Instarmac moved to its new multi-million-pound site in Dordon Tamworth. The new site is home to innovative manufacturing processes, export, finance, distribution, marketing, and sales.

Instarmac’s growth in research and development has paid off as it now serves 30 countries, has an expansive network of employees and fleets, and offers five brands of products for different needs.

UltraCrete: The UltraCrete line provides a range of products for all highway maintenance and repair needs. The range includes fast-setting repair mortars, patching materials, anti-skid solutions, and concretes.

UltraScape: UltraScape is a line of premium products for engineers, architects, and contractors. The range offers priming, bedding, and jointing materials that meet and exceed the demands of the British Standard 7533.

UltraTileFix: This line of quality products delivers high-performing tile adhesives and grouts for use within the home, retail sector, health and leisure sector, automotive industry, and hospitality venues. The UltraTileFix products include levelling compounds, adhesives, tiling ancillaries, silicones, and grouts.

UltraFloor: The UltraFloor line provides suitable options for subfloor preparation in domestic, commercial, and industrial applications. The range includes repair and finishing compounds, smoothing underlayments, ancillaries, and moisture protection products.

Wondertex: The Wondertex line of products offers a range of finishing solutions for various applications that provide professional results. These products offer solutions for decorative texturing, drylining, coving, jointing, joint taping, and ancillaries.
