  • The warmup foil heater is a streamlined electric radiant floor heater designed for use with carpet, vinyl, wood and other floating floors
  • We recommend using the Warmup Insulated Underlay and Dual Overlay Systems for maximum efficiency excludes bathrooms; cannot steam clean carpets
  • Installed directly under the floor finish; no self leveling required
  • Warmup has successfully completed controlled tests with Amtico and Karndean flooring
  • Easily installed under floor finish with no self-leveling required
  • Wire based system can be adapted to fit around objects
  • Ideal for regular shaped rooms, where the 0.5m wide mats can be rolled

  • Suitable For:

  • How to install the warmup foil heater system :
  • The foil heating mats are available in several convenient sizes but it is recommended to use larger mats as much as possible and smaller mats as gap fillers
  • Permanent or static fixtures should be excluded with ideally 80% of the floor area covered
  • The mat (foil casing) can be cut and turned to suit the shape of the room
  • However the wire must never be cut the aluminium foil tape can then be used to secure the mat once its been re-positioned securing any exposed wire
  • When laying the mat a gap of 50mm should be left from the wall edge and a gap of 10mm between mats.
  • The mats should be stretched and secured using the aluminium tape provided.
  • The mats electrical supply cables should be placed towards the junction box, ensuring that they do not cross each other.

Note: All electrical connections must be performed by a certified electrician. A groove should be created in the sub-floor in order to accommodate for the floor probe. The probe must never touch or be crossed by the heating element.
