Whether you're working indoors or outdoors, the Crown Trade Grip Extreme
Fast Drying Primer Paint White is made for versatility. It sticks
remarkably well to a wide range of substrates, from new and previously
painted surfaces to glass, ceramic tiles, melamine and chalky
substrates. It not only primes surfaces but also blocks stains, ensuring
that unsightly marks are covered and prevented from bleeding through
the final paint coat. This primer offers excellent coverage and is a
cost-effective option for both small and large-scale projects.
- This product is a rapid drying, adhesion promoting primer that will lock in stains such as nicotine and tannins.

- Suitable Surfaces - New and previously painted surfaces, glass, ceramic tiles, melamine, previously painted surfaces and chalky substrates, as well as most wood and non-ferrous metals.
- Drying Time - Under normal drying conditions touch dry in 30 minutes and recoat after 1 hour. Allow for adequate ventilation during the drying period

- Limitations :
- Do not apply when air or substrate temperatures are likely to fall below 8 degree C or when the relative humidity is above 80% during application or the drying period.
- When used as a stain block primer two coats are recommended.
Note: When used as a stain block primer two coats are recommended. A trial test area is recommended over severely stained or suspect surfaces. For extremely chalky, powdery, charred or unstable surfaces a Crown Trade stabilising solution should be used.
- COATING SYSTEM :
- Apply one coat, two coats over stains - see limitations.
Note: If Grip Extreme is to be overcoated with a water-based finishing system on wood or non-ferrous metal substrates, a water-based primer undercoat must also be used.
- APPLICATION :
- Stir well before and during use.
- Apply using good quality tools – synthetic brush or short/medium pile roller.
- For airless spray dilution may be required.

- CLEANING :
- Return surplus material to container.
- Wash tools equipment with clean water or a warm soapy solution immediately after use.
- STORAGE :
- Store upright and secure.
- Store in secure dry conditions inaccessible to children or animals.
- Containers should be kept closed during storage.
- Do not store below 5 degree C or above 40 degree C.
