Crown Trade PSB Stain Block Primer White 1L
- An advanced water based pigmented formulation, for use on interior and exterior surfaces.
- Stains are held in the primer and will be obliterated by the decorative topcoat.
- Suitable Surfaces - New and previously painted stained surfaces - nicotine, smoke damage, tannin, dry water stains, aerosol, crayon etc
- Drying Time - Under normal drying conditions touch dry in 2 hours. Allow a minimum of 15 hours before recoating. Allow for adequate ventilation during the drying period.
- High performance primer, ideal to cover and seal problem stains such as nicotine and smoke
- Can be overcoated with water-based or solvent-based paint finishes
- Excellent adhesion
- Locks stain into the paint film

- Spreading Rate Up to 12m² per litre on smooth surfaces
- Wet Film Thickness 83 micrometres at 12m² per litre

- Limitations :
- Do not apply when air or substrate temperatures are likely to fall below 8 degree C or when the relative humidity is above 80% during application or the drying period.
- For extremely chalky, powdery, charred or unstable surfaces a Crown Trade stabilising solution should be used.
Note: A trial test area is recommended over severely stained or suspect surfaces.
- COATING SYSTEM :
- Apply one coat
- Stubborn stains may require an additional coat.
- For extremely chalky, powdery, charred or unstable surfaces a Crown Trade stabilising solution should be used.
- APPLICATION :
- Stir well before and during use.
- Apply using good quality tools – synthetic brush or medium pile roller.
- For airless spray dilution may be required.
- Stir well before use.
- On uncoated, porous wall and ceiling surfaces the first coat can be thinned with up to 10% clean water.
- Stubborn stains may require an additional coat.
- CLEANING :
- Return surplus material to container.
- Wash tools equipment with clean water or a warm soapy solution immediately after use.
- STORAGE :
- Store upright and secure.
- Store in secure dry conditions inaccessible to children or animals.
- Containers should be kept closed during storage.
- Do not store below 5 degree C or above 40 degree C.
