Dulux Trade Satinwood Paint - Pure Brilliant White

Satinwood is a solvent-based satin finish formulation that is tough, hardwearing and dirt resistant.
Does not require an undercoat except where a strong colour change is required.

Film Properties :
Chemical Resistance: Resistant to mild chemical fume attack but where there is heavy attack, such as actual contact with chemicals, specialist paint systems may be required
Heat Resistance: Generally resistant to heat up to 90 degree C, but some discolouration of light colours may occur at elevated temperatures.
Water Resistance: Resistant to the levels of atmospheric humidity present in normal interior environments. Not suitable for use on immersed surfaces or where there is very heavy and prolonged condensation.

SURFACE PREPARATION :
To get the best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry (new surfaces particularly must be fully dry) and free from all defective or poorly adhering material such as dirt, grease and wax.
New or bare surfaces should be primed with an appropriate Dulux Trade primer.
Thoroughly rub down previously painted surfaces, using ‘wet flatting’ methods where possible, then wipe off with a damp, lint free cloth.
Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead.
Any surface defects should be filled with an appropriate Polycell Trade Polyfilla.

SYSTEMS INFORMATION
STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE.
The normal finishing process is 2 full coats
For best colour consistency, purchase sufficient tinted paint for entire job including touch-in at one time from the same source.
NOTE: Whilst leading-edge technology has been used in the development of this product, the nature of white solvent-based paints means that they will all discolour over time. The rate of discolouration is faster on areas with no or low natural or UV light.
For long-lasting whiteness, we recommend the use of a water-based formulation such as Dulux Trade Quick Dry Satinwood.

APPLICATION METHOD :
Brush or roller only. For Health Safety reasons relating to all solvent-based paints, spray application is not recommended.
As with all solvent-based paints, do not apply at temperatures below 5 degree C (as recommended by British Standard BS 6150).

Cleaning Up :
After use, remove as much product as possible from equipment before cleaning with brush cleaner.
