- A water tank / spray bar which fits on to the front of the plate and shoots a fine mist of water towards the ground.
- This is used for compaction of ground with dust and materials that could be shaken in to the air, and are dangerous to breathe.
- The mist clings to the particles and weighs them down, stopping them getting in to the working atmosphere.
